Sourena is not only one of the greatest generals of Ancient Persia but was the greatest general of the world during the kingdom of Ashkanian. He was the general of Persian army that defeated the Roman army headed by Kerasus in the year 53 B.C. and changed the history of Persian Empire. On the 3rd of October, 56 B.C. heads and generals of Roman Empire decided to conquer the west lands of Forat River. They decided that Julius Cesar conquers the west part of Europe and by the time Kerasus was volunteered to attack the east to defeat the Persian army. It took two years for Kerasus to prepare the requisites of the attack. General Sourena had chosen the battle land and by using modern weapons such as mechanical missile launchers and unique techniques like bringing fresh food and water to soldiers and ordered rest time of soldiers, succeeded in defeating the Roman army in a war called “Horan” in 53 B.C. From that time on, no other Roman general even thought of attacking Persia. The victory was cause of pleasure and honor for the people of Persia. The great technique and well awareness of the situation caused Sourena to win the war and achieve his goal, is why our company has chosen “Sourena” for his name in honor of General Persia, the great conqueror of the world.
